Frequently Asked Questions

I'm new, how do I order?
Welcome to YouLoveClothing. All the items you can see on our website are available to buy on-line. Use the search options and menus to find things you like; then once you have found something you want to buy, select your size, then click on the 'add to cart' icon. From here you can go back to order lots more stuff, or proceed to the checkout. Once you checkout of the cart, you need to select the country you wish your purchase to be sent to, and here you will be told what the total to pay is including shipping.

Are all on-line items in stock?
All the items on our websites are held in stock in our warehouse. If the size you want is not shown, it means we do not have it in stock unfortunately.

How can I pay?
To pay for your order we accept the following:
3.Bank Transfer

To pay using your credit card, simply complete the details on the Worldpay page.
You will be asked for your credit card number, its expiry date and the CCV number. The CCV number is for added security and is the 3 digit number found on the back of your credit card. Payments can only be made in GB Pounds Sterling.

To make a Bank Transfer please email advising your intent to pay, and we will email you our bank details. The payment we receive must be after any transfer or bank charges you may have to pay.

Upon receipt of payment your order will be despatched and a confirmation email will be sent.

Is it safe to order on-line?
When you arrive at the checkout, our system passes your order details via a 128bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encrypted secure page, where you complete your order by providing your credit card details. When you type your credit card and CCV number into the page, it is in secure mode. This means that your browser encodes what you type, and the server decodes it. Anyone 'listening' to traffic en route can make no sense of the number. Every trading web site uses the SSL encryption system and you can tell you are in secure mode when a little padlock icon appears at the bottom of the screen.

When will payment be taken?
Your payment will be debited when you place your order online. When you click on the 'submit order details' icon we will immediately contact your bank /card issuer for authorisation to take payment from your account. If your payment is authorised, you will receive an email straight away confirming your order and order details.

If payment is not authorised by your bank or card issuer due to the information you supplied when placing the order not matching that held by the bank or card issuer, or for some other reason, then the Worldpay page will notify you of this. Please understand Worldpay cannot always provide an explanation for your payment being declined by your bank or card issuer.

When will I get my order?
UK: All orders received before 4pm on a weekday (Monday to Friday) will be delivered the following day before 1pm, as long as the card payment passes the necessary security checks and the next day is not a bank holiday.
Typically European Shipments take 3 - 4 working days.
Typically Rest Of The World Shipments take 5 working days.

I placed a UK order yesterday and haven't received anything yet?
If it is after 1pm and you have not received your order;
Check the email address you supplied with the order - if we have any query or problem with the order we will have sent you an email to let you know
Check to see if a card has been left to say that delivery was attempted while you were out, or if someone else has signed for the parcel.
We can also let you have the shipment reference and you can check on the royalmail website for the whereabouts of the parcel.
In most cases we find that the Royal Mail will have attempted to deliver and taken the package back to the sorting office because no one was in. They should leave a card to say this, but they don't always do so, and may re-attempt delivery the next day.

Why can't you ship to an address other than where my credit card is registered?
Because of the nature of what we sell we can only ship to the cardholders registered address. We recognise that this can be inconvenient and that other internet traders do ship to alternate addresses, but we find that not doing this gives greater security against fraud both for you our customer and us. Also by minimising the risk of fraud it helps us to keep prices down. If you email us though, we may be able to make alternate arrangements, or if you are a repeat customer.

What if I am not in to sign for the goods?
The parcel will be taken to the local sorting office and you can collect it from there (remember to take the card and appropriate identification), or you can ask the Royal Mail to deliver again at a suitable time for you. Alternatively, you can have an item delivered to your local post office for a 50p charge rather than having to pick it up from the sorting office.

What if the local sorting office is miles away?
We can always hold your order and ship it on a Friday so it comes Saturday morning - just email us sales@youloveclothing.com. Simpler still, place your order on a Friday.

Specific delivery instructions
We are unable to pass your specific delivery instructions on to the Royal Mail (eg "if no-one in, please leave in the shed") because there is no mechanism to do this, and they have to obtain a signature for the goods.

What is this 'Backorder' mark mean?
If the 'Buy' button isn't available for your desired item, it has recently sold out. If you click on the 'Backorder' text, a pop up will allow you to enter your email address. Then, as soon as we have located more stock, we will send you an email letting you know your desired item is once again available for purchase. There is no obligation to buy if you no longer require the item when we email you back with news of more stock.

I ordered an item and now it's on 'Backorder'... Is everything alright?
Our stock removal system is automatic therefore, as soon as an order is paid for, the items will be taken off the site. Should that have happened to have been the last one we have in stock, it will then show up as on backorder.
