In the early 1980s, Ralph Lauren's name defined the business suit and his clothing became very popular. He expanded into other areas, including casual shirts and pants. He was experimenting in other areas such as furniture and linens that proved to be successful.
Since then, his small store in New York has expanded into a billion dollar company that sells its products worldwide. His style and label have prevailed throughout the last few decades - with clothing that is simple, yet very stylish. The Ralph Lauren brand has now become to represent high quality clothes that are built from fine materials and manufactured carefully.
